NOTICE TO BIDDERS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the CITY OF CLAREMORE will receive SEALED BIDS #2011-20 for the 2011-2011 ANNUAL BORING AND TRENCHING CONTRACT at the office of the Central Purchasing until September 7 2011, 1:30 P.M. and then at the Council Chambers publicly opened and read aloud. Copies of the contract bid documents, specifications and plans may be obtained through FINLEY ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC., 104 E. 11th Street, P. O. Box 148, Lamar, MO 64759 upon payment of non refundable, $25.00 for each set. Specifications and plans can be viewed and obtained for same cost at the office of CITY OF CLAREMORE, CENTRAL PURCHASING AGENT, 104 SOUTH MUSKOGEE AVENUE, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA 74017. Bids filed with Central Purchasing shall be publicly opened at the time stated above and considered by the Mayor and Council in the following regular Council meet­ing. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. A cashier's check, a certified check or a surety bond for five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will not be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. All paperwork in the bids submitted shall be complete. Any incomplete paperwork shall be considered an unresponsive bid. Bidders agree to commence work within thirty (30) calendar days after the date of a Notice to Proceed work order issued by the City, and to complete the Westwood URD portion of the project within the term of the contract. The complete term of the contract will be in effect until June 30, 2012. The City of Claremore reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
