In response to a question posed by a possible respondant to the RFQ, official notification of response is as follows: 1. Will the Construction Manager be expected to provide engineering testing (soils, concrete, asphalt) or will that be contracted separately by others? The contractor will be responsible for testing, although it would not hurt to add additional services. 2. Will the Construction Manager be expected to provide full survey services for purposes of calculating quantities, or will the contractor provide those quantities for monthly pay estimates to be verified by the CM? It makes a difference if the CM has to provide a full-time or part-time survey crew, or is able to use the CM on-site team for occasional checks on critical dimensions. The contractor will be responsible for providing pay quantities and CM will review and verify. 3. We have assumed for purposes of our response that the CM would be responsible for the day to day monitoring of the project, and that on-site presence of ODOT, City of Claremore, or BNSF (other than for flagging) would be on an occasional basis. Is that correct? This is a correct statement.
