The City of Claremore will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste Event on Saturday, May 3, 2025. This initiative provides an opportunity for Rogers County residents to safely dispose of common household pollutants, such as E-Waste, tires, ammunition and medication. Items can be dropped off for discarding from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Claremore Industrial Park, west of the intersection of Hwy. 66 and Lowry Rd. / E. 470 Rd.

The Household Hazardous Waste Event is happening in conjunction with the Rogers County Trash-Off. From Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26, locations across Rogers County will be open for residents to throw away large household items, such as furniture, mattresses, carpeting and other objects too large to fit into a trash bin.
This event is open only to residents of Rogers County. It is NOT open to businesses and commercial enterprises. Residents are responsible for unloading their own debris.
Rock Quarry / Waste Site: 12741 E 410 Rd (between S 4150 Rd and S 4160 Rd) There are two entrances to the site, but waste will only be accepted at the Rogers County entrance.
