SUMMARY:Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross
DESCRIPTION:Shepherd’s Cross will be returning this year with their Pumpkin Festival\, fun for the whole family. They have been hosting a fall event for three decades. The pumpkin festival will run from September 26– November 4. Hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 9a – 6:30p. They’ll also be open on October 31. \nShepherd’s Cross Pumpkin Festival is a harvest celebration held at an authentic working farm\, just north of Claremore on scenic Route 66. Come to the farm and enjoy the peace of a few hours spent in the country. Enjoy wholesome fun for the entire family including over 50 activities\, a hay maze\, festive outdoor & indoor games\, farm animal petting barn\, farm demonstrations and fall story time. The farm’s focus is educational\, mingled with fall festive fun. We will supply truckloads of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes for purchase\, as well as straw bales & cornstalks for your fall decorating. There is a wide range of pumpkin prices\, starting at $1.50 each. \nCome see our walk-through Pumpkin Patch\, Game Area\, and Hay Maze. Pumpkins are sanitized daily\, and games are sanitized throughout the day. Suggested donation is $5 per person (suggested – not required). \nPumpkin Patch Packages are available for $9\, $12 & $15. They include a pumpkin\, wagon ride and take-home fall craft.  Size of pumpkin varies with package price and are available while supplies last. \nWagon rides in the hay meadow are $6.50 per person; children two and under are free. They “load up and head out” approximately every 30 minutes. Wagon ride is sanitized throughout the day. \nFarm Museum & Educational Farm Silo is open – free admission. The Bible Garden is available for self-guided tours where you can see pumpkins growing on the vines\, and take a picture with the flowers. Shepherd’s Shop\, a quaint country gift shop\, features a host of festive fall\, handmade wool and farm related gifts and wares from many gifted artisans. The shop is open year-round and carries snacks & beverages. Also offered are healthy food choices as well as grass-fed\, grass-finished meats. There are modern indoor restrooms. \nThis event is made possible by Heart of the Shepherd Inc.\, a public\, non-profit Christian organization (501-C3) that teaches Biblical references to the harvest\, the animals\, farming\, and gardening. Because of their generosity\, the admission is free and operates by donations. \nShepherd’s Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility\, a Made in Oklahoma Company\, and a Grass Fed Grass Finished\, Animal Welfare Certified Farm.

Claremore\, OK 74019. \nThis is a handmade in Oklahoma show\, with many vendors being Made in Oklahoma members. These vendors will be on hand with the best items to make your shopping experience exciting. There will be so many items available to get you ready for the Holiday season. We will have signs\, home decor\, Christmas decorations and decor\, wind chimes\, metal pictures\, Egg and horseshoe art\, jewelry\, kettle corn\, freshies\, tumblers\, shirts made on site\, bullet jewelry\, leather accessories\, bath & body\, skincare\, beard & hair care\, candles\, bath salts\, wreaths\, sewn items\, key chains\, dog accessories\, dream catchers\, pottery\, BBQ sauce\, auto clothes racks\, quilts\, pot holders\, bowl cozies\, crochet items\, freeze dried candy\, learning games\, coasters\, magnets\, fudge\, laser engraved items\, Custom hats\, boot bling\, stained glass and so\, so much more. \nOn Saturday\, Santa will pay us a special visit!  The Route 66 Cruisers will also join us on Saturday from 10 am – 4pm.  Come on out and enjoy a day of vendors and cool cars and trucks!
