DESCRIPTION:Join us out at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch for a day of remembrance.  There will be fun activities for everyone to enjoy as we remember all those lost in small airplane crashes \n\n\n7:30 am – 1:30 pm \n\n\nOver 100 planes fly in over beautiful Oologah Lake \n\n\nFree to walk up close to the planes and talk with the pilots. \n\n\nClassic Cars \n\n\nBring your lawn chairs \n\n\nThis event will feature dozens of vintage planes touching down on the grass airstrip along the beautiful grounds of the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch.  The Will Rogers & Wiley Post Fly-in is one of the largest such events in Oklahoma. \n  \nWill Rogers was America’s spokesman for the new mode of transportation\, flying.  Wiley Post was a piloting pioneer flying around the world twice and setting speed records.  Both men died tragically in a small plane crash in 1935.  Our National Day of Remembrance honors all those who have lost their lives in a small airplane crash. \n​ \n​
