Baking Item Policies

Baking items may be checked out to library patrons for 14 days and cannot be renewed. The limit is two baking items per library card. These items are not available via Inter-library loan.

Please wash the items per the Safe Handling Instructions below before returning it to the library.  A cleaning fee of $2 per item will be charged for any baking items returned dirty.

Return your baking items to the circulation desk in the bag provided. Please do NOT put them in the book drop, as this can damage the item.

Replacement fees for lost or damaged items will be based on the current price of a new replacement pan or cookie cutter.

Safe Handling Instructions

Before and after usage, hand wash the items in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Not all items are dishwasher safe so we ask that you hand wash only. Please do not use abrasive pads on non-stick pans.

Baking and Decorating Books

We have many books for cake and cookie recipes and decorating inspiration! Search the library catalog for cake, cookie, or baking or browse the shelves in the baking section. There are many websites that offer great decorating ideas and instructions, too!

Send a picture for us to post on Facebook!  Email them to wrlibrary@claremore.com or message us on Facebook.
