The City Clerk serves as the liaison between the city council and the public, communicating with management, government officials, and staff. Our City Clerk’s office holds many responsibilities, including documenting and facilitating city council meetings, publishing ordinances and resolutions, public records management, licenses, permits, payments and much more.
An ordinance is the most authoritative form of action taken by the city council. Once adopted, the ordinance becomes an established law for the City of Claremore. They are intended to address issues of local concern and apply to residents’ subject to the city’s jurisdiction.

Permits and LicensingThe City of Claremore Municipal Court is held every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Claremore City Hall. Your ticket will list your exact court date. If you need to reschedule or don’t have your ticket with your court date, call the Court Clerk’s office for additional information.
