The City of Claremore will host its annual Household Hazardous Waste Event on Saturday, April 22, 2023. This initiative provides an opportunity for Rogers County residents to safely dispose of common household pollutants, such as E-Waste, tires, ammunition and medication. Items can be dropped off for discarding from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Ne-Mar Shopping Center 915 W. Will Rogers Blvd.

Pre-Pay OnlineThe Household Waste Event is happening in conjunction with the Rogers County Trash-Off. From Thursday, April 20 through Saturday, April 22, locations across Rogers County will be open for residents to throw away large household items, such as furniture, mattresses, carpeting and other objects too large to fit into a trash bin.
This event is open only to residents of Rogers County. It is NOT open to businesses and commercial enterprises. Residents are responsible for unloading their own debris.

Education and industry partners from across Claremore will join the City on April 22 to celebrate and highlight the importance of environmental health. Employees from Claremore-based CF Industries will host a coordinated clean-up effort of Cat Creek. The stream runs behind the Ne-Mar shopping center and through Cat Creek Dog Park. In addition, the Rogers State University Environmental Club will host an educational opportunity allowing residents to explore the creek’s macroinvertebrate and fish data and learn more about the insects which live in our watershed.
