Duke’s will be conducting Sewer Smokes Testing on behalf of the the City of Claremore beginning on Tuesday, October 11 through Wednesday, October 18. These tests will assist the Public Works Department in locating breaks and defects in the utility sewer system. During the test, you may see smoke coming from vent stacks on buildings or holes in the ground.
All citizens living within the testing areas were notified via door tag. Please ensure you read the information provided for important test day instructions.
This method of testing may require representatives from Dukes to access manholes located on utility easements. Crews may additionally be noting defects around your property. Smoke Testing does not impact any operation of the sewer and there will be no disruption of service at any point.
