From June 11–15, Claremore will welcome automotive enthusiasts from across the country for the Mid America Route 66 Nationals, a nationally recognized celebration of performance vehicles. Returning for its second year at the Claremore Expo Center, the event pays tribute to the legacy of American automotive innovation and Claremore’s historic connection to Route 66.

“As the Main Street of America, Route 66 brought generations of travelers, and their passion for the open road, through our city,” said Claremore City Manager John Feary. “We are proud to once again serve as host for the Mid America Route 66 Nationals, an event that honors this legacy, strengthens our local economy and highlights Claremore as a destination for automotive enthusiasts from across the country.” 

The week-long event begins Wednesday, June 11, with a Memorabilia and Participant Reunion at the Claremore Expo Center for registered participants. 

On Thursday and Friday, June 12–13, the Route 66 Festival will open to the public from 6-10 p.m. at the Claremore Expo Center. The festival will feature food trucks, live music, family-friendly activities and more. Claremore resident and Season 26 NBC The Voice Top 20 contestant, Jake Tankersley, will headline both nights, bringing his iconic country music sound to the festivities.

Registered participants will enjoy exclusive racing events throughout the week at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit and Tulsa Raceway Park.

The event concludes Sunday, June 15, with the Sunday Cruise-in at the Expo Center from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., open to all makes and models. Vehicle registration is available onsite from 8:00–10:00 a.m., welcoming both seasoned collectors and casual enthusiasts.

The Mid America Route 66 Nationals is expected to draw 1,500 – 2,500 participants and spectators to Claremore, supporting local businesses and highlighting the city as a premier destination for automotive events in the region.
