Claremore's Love Your Neighbor Day Returns on July 10

On July 10, community volunteers will again partner with non-profit organizations and the City of Claremore to help people and organizations in need.

Hundreds of volunteers will complete 30-40 community projects in conjunction with Love Your Neighbor Day.  Projects range from trimming trees, building flower beds and updating a local food pantry.  Anyone interested in volunteering can sign up at lynclaremore.org.

“I am looking forward to joining this incredible event.  As the organization aptly states:  as we help others, we grow stronger as individuals and a community,” said John Feary, Claremore City Manager.

The annual event began in 2019 to serve the community of Claremore through acts of service, such as helping senior citizens with home repair or improving public parks. The program is managed by the Ministerial Alliance with the goal of strengthening Claremore by helping those in need.  Through strong support from community leaders, churches and businesses, the event has grown to include more than 500 volunteers.
