On Monday, May 17, the Claremore City Council elected Council Member Herb McSpadden as deputy mayor.  The deputy mayor is a member of the city council and serves as acting mayor in the mayor’s absence. “Serving on the Claremore City Council has been a wonderful experience, and it is an honor to be appointed as Deputy Mayor by my fellow council members,” said McSpadden. “We have an extraordinary team of employees and elected officials, and it is a privilege to serve.”
