ODOT to restore HWY 20 access for intersections and commercial drives

CLAREMORE – In July 2021 the Oklahoma Department of Transportation began a $4.6 million project to replace the roadway on SH-20 (Patti Page Blvd.) between the SH-66 junction and the I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike. Crews discovered multiple natural gas lines that conflict with the project, causing unexpected delays.

While crews evaluate next steps, the City of Claremore has worked with ODOT officials to restore access at intersections and commercial drives. The work will begin this week and the temporary approaches will remain in place until the project resumes.

The overall project was originally expected to be completed in spring 2022; however, ODOT has advised the timeframe will be adjusted based on the survey findings and updated construction schedule.
