Backed by a $2.23 million investment and nearly $350,000 in cost savings from City crews, the City of Claremore completed a major street rehabilitation project over the last year. The work focused on concrete street repairs in several areas of the city. Funding was carefully managed to maximize impact while reducing future maintenance needs in the affected areas. This marks the third large-scale street rehabilitation project completed since the Pavement Maintenance Plan was adopted in 2021.

Florence Avenue (Hwy 88 to E 9th St.)

Replaced failed pavement and improved drainage-related issues

Removed hazardous trees damaging pavement and sidewalks

Strengthened areas north of 4th Street where failures were most severe
