Community Center

The Community Center offers residents a prime location to host your next birthday party, business meeting or other social event. The 12,000 square foot space offers five different rooms for rent.

Amenities and Fees

Size: 8800 square feet (80 feet by 110 feet)

  • $45 per hour (3-hour minimum)
  • $40 per hour additional hours
  • $320 for 8 hours

Practices 1/2 court:
Team Practice: $10 per hour (1 hour only)
Full court: $20 per hour (1 hour only)

Size: 1775 square feet (39 feet by 45 feet)

  • $25 per hour (3-hour minimum)

Size: 675 square feet (27 feet by 25 feet)
Capacity: 25
Rates: $10 per hour (no minimum)

  • $500 for 8 hours
  • $60 per hour additional hours

(Excludes the craft and teen rooms)

Nonprofit organizations will be offered use of the facilities at a discounted rate of half the normal reservation fee. Organizations supported by the City of Claremore and administer programs at City facilities will not be charged to use the Multipurpose Room unless the organization is charging a fee for that particular event or activity.

 

Usage Guidelines

Property Liability

The City of Claremore reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions held at the Community Center. Liability for damage to the premises will be charged to the representative at actual repair or replacement costs.

Cleanup

All trash must be placed in the provided containers. Additional labor charges of $25 per hour will apply to the function if (at the staff’s discretion) more than standard clean-up is required at the close of the event. This includes excess trash, decorations, etc.

Decorations

  • All decorations are subject to staff approval
  • Décor and signage may be attached to the walls with blue painters tape only – no nails, staples, scotch tape, or masking tape.
  • Dry ice, smoke, and fog machines may not be used in any part of the facility.
  • No confetti, glitter, straw or hay.
  • Do not place stickers on walls or pillars.
  • All drapes, banners, fabrics, hangings, Christmas trees, plastic, and other decorative materials must be flame proofed in accordance with State of Oklahoma Fire Marshal and City Fire Marshal requirements.
  • Helium tanks may be used in the building provided they are secured either to an upright or a 2-wheeled dolly as to prohibit them from overturning.

Staff

The City of Claremore will have a paid staff person at the facility when an event is scheduled. Any additional staff, chaperones, or security is the responsibility of the individual entity reserving the space.

Equipment

The Center has eight-foot tables and chairs available for use. Additional equipment may be brought in by the user at their responsibility.

Concession/Kitchen

Concession/Kitchen facilities are limited to the ice machine and concession area. All food waste must be double bagged and placed in outside dumpster.

Tobacco

The use of tobacco in any form is prohibited in the facility. (Smoking, dipping or chewing or e-cigarettes )

Alcohol

The use of alcohol will not be permitted on the premises at any time. Any violation will be reported to the authorities.

Animals

Animals are not permitted inside the Claremore Community Center. Service animals to assist the are allowed and must be leashed.

Eviction Policy

Our belief is that every guest should behave in a manner that is considerate of other people. Reasons to ask a guest to leave the premises include, but are not limited to:

  • Fighting or threatening to fight
  • Use of profane or threatening language
  • Possession of illegal or potentially harmful items (ex. knife, firearm, laser pen, pepper or tear gas)
  • Public intoxication or illegal drug use
