Billing

All services provided by the Utility Department are billed in one convenient, consolidated bill, allowing customers to make a single monthly payment to cover electric, water, sewer, and trash fees.

You can pay your utility bill, add/change utility service or speak with a utility services representative at the Utility Services Office, located in Claremore City Hall. The office and drive-through window are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  We also have three convenient after-hours drop boxes at City Hall: near the drive-through window, on the side of the building near the breezeway and in the parking lot on the east side of the building.

IMPORTANT BILLING UPDATE – 8.30.23

The City of Claremore utilizes General Electric systems to collect and relay electric and water meter data for the purpose of monthly billing cycles. A General Electric systems failure prevented meter data to be gathered for the recent billing cycle(s) and delayed the City of Claremore’s ability to certify usage for billing purposes. As a result, the current billing cycle for electric usage that is being delivered this week was extended by 5 days and customers were charged for services from July 18 – Aug 23. This resulted in a billing cycle of 36 days versus the typical 30 or 31 days. Customers may notice a higher total balance as a result of the extended timeframe and excessive heat the last several weeks. However, the next billing cycle and related charges will be adjusted to the shorter timeframe of Aug. 24 – Sept. 18.

We regret this wasn’t communicated sooner, and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
