The City partners with organizations across Claremore to create jobs, grow business and offer unique quality of life opportunities. We are moving forward, working together and doing more to create a brighter future for our community.
The City of Claremore’s commitment to its employees and their families to provide a healthy and tobacco free workplace have been a primary area of continued focus for our community for many years. These resources also carry over into the community, providing residents and visitors with access to the mountain bike and urban walking trails, along with a sprawling Lake Park.
We support the efforts of the Rogers County TSET Healthy Living Program, which seeks to lessen the burden of unhealthy behaviors before they take root. Half of all cancers are caused by obesity and tobacco use. Oklahoma has some of the highest rates of tobacco use and obesity in the nation. The City of Claremore also encourages schools, restaurants, local businesses, and community members to make healthier choices. Shape Your Future is a program of TSET that is dedicated to improving the health of Oklahomans.
