How Do I?

You must apply for a card in person. Library card applications are available at the circulation desk. You will need to furnish current identification and proof of current address (such as Oklahoma driver’s license, printed check, voter registration card, or current utility bill). Any minor child wanting to apply for a library card must have a parent or legal guardian with them.

For those who are interested in our digital services but do not currently have a library card, consider an E-card! A Will Rogers Library E-Card gives you access to the library’s digital offerings, such as E-books, digital magazines, audio and streaming video, as well as our many online database resources. Call the Library at 918-341-1564 to apply. We will need your name, birth date and address in Rogers County to set up this card. For those under 18, we will also need a parent’s name, birth date and address. Please note if you, or your parent, already have a card with fines you will not be eligible for an Electronic Services card.

You can search the catalog from anywhere to see the full collection. You may search by keyword, title, author or subject. Once you find an item you like, you may save it to a personal reading list, or put it on hold if it is checked out. Kids also have their own catalog link where they can search for items just for them! Be sure to try our Help Videos for tips and tricks on using the catalog!

From the Catalog page in the upper right corner, you can check your account status, renew items or place items on hold, or keep lists of items you’ve read or items you would like to read. Your library card number is your login, and your PIN is the last four digits of that same number. You can customize your PIN at any time for your security.

You can receive email or text reminders for arrived holds, overdue notices, etc. Simply log in to your account under ‘View My Account’, click on ‘Edit Account’, and enter your e-mail address, or give us your email address the next time you’re in the library. Then call the circulation desk at 918-341-1564 and ask to be put on e-mail or text notices. It’s that simple!

Free Internet access is available for public use at the Will Rogers Library. Computers are available on a first come, first serve basis. The library also offers free Wi-Fi service for your personal device with no time limits. Printing is available for .10 per page.

We have interlibrary loan services. You may request up to two items at a time. There is a $2.75 per item request fee. Only print items may be requested. Movies and audio are not available through interlibrary loan.

If library materials are damaged, the library must charge the patron to replace them, either for the item itself, and/or for damaged covers, cases, etc.. Please DO NOT attempt to purchase and replace the item yourself, as these replacement purchases cannot be accepted due to necessary parameters on specifically matching the original library item. If you have any questions about replacement charges, please ask at the circulation desk or call the library at 918-341-1564.

The Will Rogers Library welcomes donations of new and used books, DVDs, & CDs in good condition. We do not accept encyclopedia sets, textbooks, VHS or cassette tapes, record albums, Reader’s Digest Condensed books, or Harlequin/Silhouette paperbacks. Donations may be brought to the Library circulation desk during hours of operation. Please do not place donations in the book drop or leave donated materials outside when the library is closed. Donors may request a receipt for tax purposes. Please be aware donations cannot be returned once donated.
